Give thanks for:
- That plans are progressing for Grace Church, a new joint venture in Kidderminster, which Christ Church Wyre Forest will form part of. Give thanks that both Christ Church and Kidderminster Evangelical Church voted in favour and so far seven adults and five children have committed to joining from Woodgreen Church.
- For the generous donation towards Leo staying on as associate minister once Grace Church starts. Pray the Lord would provide the rest of the funding needed.
Please pray for:
- That the Lord would continue to add to the Grace Church launch team, for growing relationships between those from the three churches and for all the legal aspects to proceed smoothly.
- That the next few months till January 2025 would not be a time of ‘limbo’ but of growth as we cast our anxieties on the Lord and learn to trust him more. Pray the Lord would strengthen relationships and our sense of church family as they will be key to sustain us.
- That the Lord would bring to us those in Stourport he wants us to meet before the church moves to Kidderminster. Pray the Lord would use our ministry to the many new housing estates to do this.
- Several long term members will be moving away over the summer. Praise God for them and all the ways he used them to bless and build up the church and pray for the church as we grieve their going.
