Bishop's Personal Assistant
The Bishop and the Synod Standing Committee of the Anglican Network in Europe limited (ANiE), are seeking to employ a Personal Assistant for their Bishop. ANiE is a new organisation of faithful Anglicans committed to making Christ known in England, Wales, Scotland and Europe and AMiE is a Convocation (diocese-in-formation) within ANiE.
It is a pre-requisite that you have constant access to a reliable broadband internet connection as this post will be home based with occasional travel as directed by the Bishop.
This post is not only an exciting and challenging one but one that will enable you to serve the Network in a key role as part of a wider larger and dispersed team. You will not only be required to be perspicacious, confident and a great communicator distributing messages clearly and concisely but, to have excellent interpersonal skills, especially in listening to and conveying information with ease.
You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills as the post holder will cover some budgetary recording responsibility, general administration, scheduling/organising meetings, correspondence, note/minute taking, the effective management of the Bishops diary appointments and ensure timely reporting to Companies House. The characteristics that ANiE are seeking for this post include demonstrating that you work independently and reliably as a problem solver and as part of a larger and dispersed team.
Job type: Part time 15-20 hours a week (week days, daily timetable negotiable), with the potential to increase hours in the future.
Contract type: The expectation is that this will be a Permanent post.
Salary: As guidance only and depending on experience, circa 30k ‘pro rata.’
