Give thanks for:
- For a wonderful influx of internationals especially from Hong Kong, trying out CCSC and warming to the fellowship.
- Good summer camps and now youngsters heading off to university with hope that they will get stuck in at church and Christian Unions.
- The willingness in the church family over the summer to pray, raise finance and advertise for an assistant minister to join the ministry alongside Tim Chapman.
Please pray for:
- For Ed Mezzetti’s arrival as assistant minister. Pray that he and his wife Cat’s housing situation will be sorted as soon as possible.
- For Ed’s deployment induction and then training in ministry while keenly supporting the youthwork especially.
- For our church day away on 16th October with two talks in Jesus’ parables from Joel Edwards, a minister in Dagenham. For church members and fringe to all come.
- For small groups at CCSC to be a great source of support and prayer in applying Biblical truth to our lives. We are preaching through James after all: ‘Do not merely listen to the word; do what it says’ (James 1:22). Please pray for everyone to prioritise those times in the week.
