Give thanks:
- We marked our one-year anniversary in mid-September so give thanks to the Lord who has helped us in countless ways with his daily mercy, grace, provision and protection over our first year as a church.
- For our first couple of youth outreach events “Wings + Chips + Chat”. Praise God for the young people who have come along and enjoyed it. Pray for Sam (Trainee Pastor) as he takes this forward, and that it would lead to young people discovering true life in Jesus’ name through the gospel.
- For a number of newcomers who have decided to or are in the process of considering making Life Church Hackbridge their home church. We are so encouraged by the people God is bringing and please pray they would quickly become part of the church family and feel a sense of belonging here.
- For the safe arrival of our minister Jonny and wife Beth’s fourth child.
Please pray:
- For the five people/couples/families who are in the process of buying places in Hackbridge to enable them to embed into the community and get alongside neighbours and locals for the sake of the gospel. Pray that God would provide the right homes for them, and for patience in the complicated moving process.
- Give thanks for door knocking and book table opportunities in Hackbridge recently. Many people have taken books and gospels, so please pray that they would be read, and people may be prompted to investigate the good news of Jesus further. –
- For a school mum, E, who is coming to a 321 course. Give thanks for the encouragement of her openness and questions, and please pray she might come to know the grace and hope of Jesus.
