Give thanks for:
- We’re very thankful for the service held at St James’s on 21st January, where Bishop Andy Lines ordained James Pontin as Presbyter. We also celebrated James’ 22yrs at St James’s and his new role leading Hope Church, East Cowes.
- Praise God that we have 5 people on the new 3-2-1 course, introducing people to Christianity and the Lord Jesus.
- We’re very thankful for the Elders and Church Council who have exhibited great wisdom and leadership in the last couple of months.
Please pray for:
- For spiritual fruit from the 3-2-1 course, that the Holy Spirit would open eyes and bring people to Jesus.
- For our house groups who have started ’The Big Read’, reading through the whole Bible chronologically. Please pray that this will be a huge encourage for everyone and we would as a church family persevere right through the year!
- For the Elders and Church Council as we consider the next step regarding the appointment of an Associate Minister. Please pray for wisdom as we consider the long term future of St James’s. Please pray that we might make decisions that secure gospel ministry into the future.
