Give thanks for:

• For opportunities we’ve had to share Christ with our local communities over the last few months, including through our ‘Come and See’ Sunday series in John 1-6, a Ceilidh, and a Hope Explored course.
• For a helpful time formulating a new church mission statement: ‘Our mission is to receive the good news of Jesus, be transformed by it, and share it with our local communities and beyond’.
• For how the Lord has been sustaining church family members through trials of various kinds, and for the examples of joyful faith in trial that he has given the rest of the church family through them.

Please pray for:

• That the Lord would be at work enabling us to receive and be transformed by the good news of Jesus, and giving us courage, clarity and compassion as we seek to share that good news with the people we live amongst. Pray in particular for a quiz night on Saturday 11th May.
• We’re prayerfully thinking through what the next few years might look like for us as a church family, seeking to formulate some agreed ‘longings’ that we can commit ourselves to praying for and working towards. Pray for the elders as we reflect on discussions on this topic at a members meeting on Sunday 28th April.
