Give thanks for:
- For our recent 321 course and the opportunity it gives us to introduce people to Jesus.
- For the 5 people (3 youth 2 adults) baptised on a recent Sunday. Praise God for salvation.
- For a growing youth and children’s ministry and the desire the young people have to invite their friends to hear about Jesus. Give thanks for Bekah, Jane and their team in leading this.
- For our women’s breakfast and their time together thinking around the area of discipleship and time. Praise God for Grace as she leads our women’s ministry.
Please pray for:
- Jon Cawsey, our Associate Minister, is now on sabbatical. Please pray for the Cawsey family that they would enjoy rest, refreshment and spiritual growth.
- For those stepping into the ministry roles to cover Jon especially in the areas of music and operations.
- Ask the Lord to give us a greater heart for the people of Stockport, that we wouldn’t become comfortable with those who belong to Jesus’ church but that we would be deeply uncomfortable about the thousands who do not and so seek to do something about it.
- As the Leadership Council review our ministries and vision over the coming weeks, pray that the Lord would lead us to be effective in all we do for his glory.
