Give thanks for:

• For a wonderful baptism service on 13th October when 20 people were baptised, including 12 of our Iranian brothers and sisters. Two people also renewed their baptismal vows. Praise God for such powerful testimonies and the way he is blessing our international ministry.
• That over 50 people doing a Crosslands training course helping them to better read, understand and apply the Bible with the overall aim of equipping them to open God’s word with other people.
• For a team of 12 going out to Cape Town (24th October-5th November) to visit one of our mission partners out there.
• The launch of our church plant, Christ Church Hessle, in September, and the ordination of Adam Johnston as presbyter.

Please pray for:

• For those who were baptised/renewed their baptism vows, that they would continue to grow in Christ, in knowledge of and love for him.
• For all those doing the Crosslands Bible course, that God would use this mightily in our church family, across all the different ministry areas, and in our personal evangelism.
• For the mission to Cape Town that God would use this to greatly encourage our mission partners out there, that every word taught – spoken or sung – and every testimony shared, every activity/interaction would be used by him to build up his kingdom.
• For continued growth in our numbers and in our spiritual maturity. Pray too for Christ Church Hessle as they seek to share the gospel in West Hull.
