Give thanks for:

• For a wonderful weekend of services over Easter.
• For all those baptised on Easter Sunday morning and for those renewing their baptismal vows, and their powerful testimonies of how God has been working in their lives.
• For continued numerical growth in our church family and for his blessing on all the mid-week groups.

Please pray for:

• For all those who were baptised/renewed baptismal vows on Easter Sunday, that that they would continue to grow in their love for God, their knowledge of him through his Word, and stand firm ‘always giving themselves fully to the work of the Lord’ (1 Corinthians 15:58).
• For our next evangelistic event on 19th April which is an evening with Todd Alexander exploring illusions and how they are created, culminating in a presentation of the gospel. Pray that church family would invite non-believing family and friends and that God would use the evening to bring people to a saving knowledge and love of him.
• For the launch of a church-wide pastoral care course produced by Crosslands and Biblical Counselling UK. Those with some kind of leadership role have already done this course and it is now being rolled out to any member of the congregation who would like to better equip themselves to walk alongside others. Please pray that many would enrol on the course, for the launch evening on 15th April and that, ultimately, we would grow in understanding about what it means to truly walk beside others.
