Give thanks for:

• We’re thankful for a wonderful wedding at the end of the summer of two members of our church who met at CCH.
• We had an encouraging outreach event with former Gladiator, Warren Furman (Ace), sharing his story of finding faith. There were many guests present.
• We’ve had several new people join us over the summer and interested in joining a welcome dinner. Pray that we would integrate them well.

Please pray for:

• Please pray for Charlie (pastor) and Emma Newcombe as we move house out of CofE accommodation after a delay from our vendor. We are currently surrounded by boxes!
• Our ops manager/administrator has stepped down and so we are feeling the pressure of covering lots of tasks that she used to do. Please pray for someone to join the team (do spread the word!), and in the meantime pray for us to be able share out the different roles well and rethink how best we cover this work.
• Please pray for the coaching session that Charlie and member of CCH, Nicola Harrison, will do at the upcoming ReNew conference on “Contending for the gospel with a view to leaving the CofE”. For godliness, wisdom and unity.
• Please pray for our upcoming baptism and confirmation service with Lee McMunn on 6th October, especially for Annie, a single mum, who came to faith from a JW background a few years ago through carol singing and door to door work.
