Give thanks for:

• The joyful Advent and Christmas services, and for all who came and heard about the light of Jesus (John 1v5).
• Bringing many new members to the church family throughout 2021, and for those who have put their faith in Jesus for the first time as well as those returning to faith.
• The faithful ministry of our Assistant Minister Chris Houghton and his wife, Jennie, with their family.

Please pray for:

• Chris Houghton and family as they prepare to move to Gateshead in April where Chris will take up the role of Senior Minister at Holy Trinity, Gateshead.
• A new Assistant Minister to replace Chris.
• The Christianity Explored course meeting in January/February – that there would be good conversation, spiritual curiosity, and a desire to know the truth about Jesus for those who attend.
• The Aleph Group – a ministry amongst and led by Iranian and Afghan refugees and asylum seekers. Pray for these brothers and sisters who have fled their homelands for religious and political reasons, that they would be built up and encouraged in Christ, and find the welcome, help and support they need in our city.
