The AMiE Synod is taking place this Saturday (17th June) in Sheffield.

The Synod is an elected body from AMiE churches, of lay and clergy reps who work together to keep the Convocation focused on gospel mission.

Give thanks for:

• For the the men and women who are giving their time to represent their churches at Synod.
• For the many hours of work that have gone into organising the Synod and preparing the various topics for discussion and the gifts that God has given to various people to allow this to happen.

Please pray for:

• Although it is a business meeting, at its heart Synod helps to keep the Convocation focused on mission. Please pray that the culture of the meeting and the things that are discussed would be Christ-centred and help the AMiE churches and AMiE as a whole remain focused on the mission of telling people the good news of Jesus over the coming years.
• Bishop Andy Lines as he chairs the Synod and for Tom Smyth the AMiE Registrar as he helps to direct the business for the day.
• For wisdom and gospel-hearted decision making for all the Synod Reps.
