Give thanks:
- For opportunities for encouragement and refreshment over the summer at youth camps, the Keswick Convention, and the PT Cornhill Summer School.
- For many across the church family committing to new areas of service this year.
- For the commissioning of our first missionary couple, preparing for front-line gospel ministry in Spain.
Please pray:
- For the beginning of a new academic year: For returning students, that they would not drift in the early weeks but settle back quickly into local church life; and Christian Freshers might find a home where they can be discipled well and grow in knowledge and love of God; that the church family would disciple them well.
- That many in the congregation will recommit themselves to our midweek groups as they start up again after the summer, and that our studies in Romans will both transform and equip us all to stand, live, and speak for Christ in the months and years ahead.
- For the many across the church facing health, work, and financial challenges; that they may have confidence in God’s good purposes and know the loving support of the church family.
