Give thanks for:
- Six joyful baptisms/confirmations in February, led by Bishop Tim—including one husband we have been praying for over the past 10 years since the church began.
- Encouraging Life ’26 Mission and Easter services, with a number of guests joining us.
- God’s clear guidance and generous provision for the new church plant in Morpeth: for a launch team coming together with a wide range of gifts, and for an amazing response to our gift pledge fortnight (c. £400k raised).
- The provision of a new Children’s Worker, starting September 2026, after a long period of prayerful searching.
Please pray for:
- The provision of the right venue for Christ Church Morpeth ahead of a September 2026 launch. Pray for the Lord’s leading and favour, particularly after a recent venue fell through, and in the face of possible opposition.
- David & Gemma Milnes and family as they prepare to move to Morpeth and for the provision of a home, and pray for David as he plans monthly launch team gatherings, and prepares to lead the church plant.
- Those who came to the Life Mission and Easter services (guests and regular seekers): that the Lord would draw them to Himself, and that they might take the next step of coming along to an ‘Explore group’. Pray for more baptisms!
- Our ministers Ken and Ben, and the wider staff team, as they plan for the year ahead and discern the vision for St Joseph’s after the Morpeth plant.
- Our Iranian brothers and sisters: that the Lord would grant them peace and comfort, guard their unity amid political tensions, and help them to fix their hope firmly on Christ above all earthly hopes.
