Give thanks:
- For an encouraging first few months as a new church, with a good number committed to attending and a lovely sense of unity and togetherness.
- For the provision of a good venue, Tixalls Bowling & Social Club, which is working well for us.
- For all the hard work of the Trustees and for Charity Commission approval earlier in the year.
- That we are enjoying being part of AMiE.
Please pray:
- That our summer preaching series on Acts 1-6 will encourage us as a church to be mission focused, reaching out to those in the local community, to family and friends, work colleagues and neighbours. Pray that the Lord may use us for the spread of the gospel to his praise and glory.
- For our unity, for a joy and passion to grow together as disciples of Christ. Pray that we will look out for one another, build each other up in love and faith and become like the early church, as in Acts 2:42-47.
- For God’s wisdom and leading as we look to set up ministries to build us up in our discipleship together, such as home groups or breakfasts.
- For strength, wisdom and guidance as the Trustees continue to make decisions and work on policies and practicalities. Pray for unity, godliness and a dependence upon God in prayer in all that they do. Pray for others who will be serving in all kinds of ways and as we look to set up a ministry team.
