Monday 2nd March
Give thanks:
- For the baptism on Sunday 1st March of C, a young woman who started coming to Hope Church around six months ago with her husband.
- For the increasing confidence of different individuals in the church family to take steps forwards into positions of leadership (some of them without realising they are doing this!).
- For the opportunity to lead a fortnightly service in a local day-care centre.
- For all we’re learning in our sermon series this term (Exodus 1-15 and Matthew 19-20) and in our ‘one another’ mid-week group Bible studies.
- For the provision of a better configuration of rooms for our Sunday services within our current school venue (which takes away the need for us to relocate when other outside bookings come in).
Please pray:
- For the Lord to raise up an Assistant Minister to join our staff team for September 2026.
- For the Lord to provide a suitable building for us to buy as a base for gospel ministry in Wallsend.
- For the Lord to fill us with boldness, creativity and energy to take new initiatives to share the good news of Jesus in Wallsend, regardless of how or when the Lord sees fit to answer our prayers in points 1 & 2.
- For the Lord of compassion to comfort those in our church family suffering with serious medical conditions. May these faithful believers be equipped (through God comforting them in their present afflictions) to comfort others in our church family who will face afflictions in future (see 2 Corinthians 1:3-5).
- For those coming to our Easter events: Easter Challenge & Easter Carols (21st March), Easter Craft (28th March) and Easter Gardens (3rd April). May the Lord open their hearts to receive His message. And pray for ‘follow up’ / ‘follow through’: may the Lord move several individuals to want to know more about Jesus week by week.
