Monday 28th September
Give thanks:
- That he sustains his people through various trials, providing eternal hope even in situations that can feel hopeless. Praise God that he is doing this for his people at Grace Church.
- We’re thankful for opportunities to share Christ with those in our local area. Give thanks especially for new people attending our toddler group (Junior Jivers), Community Cafe and English Conversation Class.
- We’re also giving thanks for three new staff members – a maternity cover youth and children’s worker, and two part-time administrative assistants.
Please pray:
- For our efforts to reach our community with the gospel. Pray for our regular ministries, a quiz on 3rd October, and plans for a Christianity Explored course.
- We’re grateful that we get to share Christ with many different people. Please pray that he would work to bring people to saving faith.
- We’re delighted to be baptising one of young people in November. Pray for him as he prepares for that.
- We’re drawing to the end of a series in Acts. Please pray that the Lord would shape our church by what we’re hearing so that we are increasingly transformed by the gospel as the early church was.
