Give thanks:
- For our summer sermon series in Psalms 78 to 82, recognising God’s sovereign rule over life in all its different shades from light to dark and learning to actively look forward to Jesus return.
- For our summer central homegroup and prayer meeting (with food) that has had a joyful crowd at them keen to meet, learn and pray, out of term time.
- For the clear conveying of the plan to the church family, for Tim (our senior minister) to lead a new church (also called Christ Church) being established in early 2026 in Saffron Walden. Acceptance and readiness for the work of finding a new minister now underway.
Please pray:
- For the steady task of serving Christ in a hostile world and being a light filled and spiritually supportive family of believers in Sawston, S Cambs.
- For the thousands who do not yet know Christ or even a Christian person through whom they might be introduced. Pray we’d be on the front foot this term evangelistically.
- For the steady faith of those going through significant trial at CCSC. May they be sustained and find joy in their weakness.
