Give thanks for:
- For new people joining us at CCH lately from a range of backgrounds.
- For AMiE Sunday and the pulpit swap between CCH and Christ Church South Cambs. We’ve worked together on material from Jeremiah which has been good and challenging.
- For a wonderful church weekend away in Norfolk in May with great teaching (on Revelation 4-7) great weather, and great time to get to know one another better.
- For the hard work of our elders and council over the last year working on doctrinal and administrative work, partly related to our exit from the Church of England.
Please pray for:
- For those on summer camps and conventions this year including Charlie (pastor) and family at InterAction Belgium and Beth (youth worker) in Keswick, as well as good rest for everyone after a big year.
- For wisdom for us as a leadership as we consider some wider questions on staffing and Sundays as the church grows.
- That our sermons in Jeremiah and Matthew would generate ongoing repentance and faith for Christians, and initial repentance and faith for unbelievers.
- That we will remain closely united to Christ which in turn will lead to fruitfulness, love and unity across the church. We are so grateful to God for his goodness to us!
