Monday 10th November
Give thanks:
- For the army of people who serve the church both on Sundays (set-up, teaching our children, welcoming, music etc) or midweek (Connect groups, toddlers group etc). Praise him too for our godly leaders who volunteer their time and die to self so that others might live.
- For his generosity in providing for us a number of new members of staff, which has already enabled our team ministries to flourish all the more. Pray especially for Tom as he helps oversee our Engage ministries, Marty as he helps oversee our Edify ministries, Lydia as she helps with Equip, and for Phil on Exalt.
- For many new seekers joining us Sunday by Sunday, most of whom are invited along by church members. Pray that they would see that Jesus is Lord and Saviour!
Please Pray:
- For CCB as we preach through 2 Corinthians this term, that we would grow in our knowledge that Christ does not work despite our weaknesses, but through them.
- That as a church we would continue to invite everyone to “come and see the depth of Christ’s love with the breadth of God’s family” (our mission). Pray that the Lord would continue to grow us to better reflect the area we are seeking to reach.
- For Andy (our minister) as he adjusts to a much larger staff team and devotes time to ‘up-skilling’ in management alongside his other roles.
