Monday 23rd February
Praise God:
- For our teaching series in 1 Corinthians 12-15. Thanks to God for His warnings and exhortations to the Corinthian believers and to us today.
- For the new people He has brought along on Sundays recently. Pray for skill and compassion for us in welcoming them, and in gauging where they are at.
- For His hand enabling half of the houses we visited (on 1st February) to willingly engage in a first conversation with us. Pray for the follow up to sow the seed of the gospel.
- For the nationwide mission with A Passion for Life, and the events (within our local gospel partnership) that we are able to invite our friends and colleagues to.
Please pray:
- It was great to have two of the church family using their gifts to serve the body during our 1 Corinthians series. The big ongoing prayer is that we would love one another deeply, out of His love for us.
- We would love for Sam and Aleah to serve here full-time from September. Pray that the Pastor in Training funding would come through for Sam, and for Aleah thinking of ministry training.
- For a couple who’ve been with us for three years, but are are now moving to South London. Pray that they would get plugged in quickly to a new church family, and continue to grow.
