Becontree Church

Monday 8th July

Give thanks for:

  • It’s been great to see how what God’s been doing in uniting people from different backgrounds. This is something that people often notice when they come to our Sunday meetings, particularly visitors.
  • That He has been giving us a love for one another.
  • For Tom, our children’s and youth worker. He’s a local lad from Harold Hill. He’s trained at Cornhill and he’s reaching out to some young families, who come to our hall and also through the schools. There are some big primary schools on our estate and he gets lots of opportunities in them.
  • For a great weekend away with Co-Mission in Canterbury. Thank God for the local London network there and also local gospel partnership.

Please pray for:

  • The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:36-38). So please be praying for more workers for Lord’s harvest field.
  • For the Training Ground, which is starting up in September.
  • For a ministry trainee. We’d love to have someone join us, particularly a female, who can help with the schools’ works.
  • That we keep on with gospel work, which is often through first contact evangelism on the estate.
